This tour of world whiskies is for newcomers and enthusiasts alike!

Whisky is on the increase around the world with more and more countries producing splendid expressions and experimenting with new flavour combinations. We aim to highlight the regional styles and variances available from whiskies around the world. We will cover the origins, production, and the maturation processes to gain an understanding of how the golden liquid ends up in our glasses. Then we will move on to taste 5 Whiskies from around the world; some classic oldies like Scotch and Irish and moving to some newbies such as Taiwan and Tazmania.

Not only will you have a fun night with our whisky presenters but you will leave our tasting with the confidence to explain the difference between a Bourbon WhiskEy and a Scotch Whisky!

Tazmania – Sullivan’s Cove Double Cask Single Malt

Taiwan – Omar 5 Year Old Cask Strength

Ireland – Quiet Man 8 Year Old

America – Hudson Manhattan Rye Whiskey

Scotland – SMWS Ardmore 12 Year Old

This event is fully hosted by our very own Malt Masters Whisky Ambassador, who is on hand to answer any questions you may have. Snacks will also be provided.
