DESCRIPTION:This month at Whisk(E)y Club we are raising a glass to the Irish and their fabulous whiskey making. Yes Yes…we know that St. Patricks day was in March but we prefer to do things differently! \nIrish whiskey was at one point\, the most popular whisky on the planet but by the end of the 19th century; it plummeted leaving it with only 3 distilleries when it once had over 30! \nWe are happy to say that Irish whiskey is on the up again with more and more brands coming into Hong Kong than ever before. \nWe want to show our whisky clubbers that Irish whiskey is as ancient\, regional and delicious as Scottish whiskies even if there is fierce debate over who invented whisky first! \nWhisky Club is a causal gathering of like-minded whisky drinkers and opportunity to try 4-5 different expressions and drink until the bottles run out. The theme changes every month so there is always something new and exciting to try. \nAs usual\, tickets are $150 on the door but to make sure you get your share of the whisky\, buy a ticket in advance! \n
