This is another addition to the extensive selection of releases from Hunter Laing’s Kill Devil independently rum bottling range. A Nicaraguan cask strength rum that was distilled in 1999 and matured in a single cask for 18 years, then bottled at 59.2% ABV with an outturn of 257 bottles.
TASTING NOTES
Nose
Spice, cloves, cinnamon, a touch of oak and a hint of green herbs, strawberries, and caramel.
Palate
Citrus, pineapple, mango, sugar-cane sweetness, mix of oak and spices.
Finish
Long, rich and delightful with lingering pepper.
